#Transformationaltuesday: Moving

Image
Good morning! So, my husband and I are very close to owning a house. I am so excited! Not that I don't like our apartment, but there's just something about owning your own house and being able to be free to do whatever you want to it. Photo Credit: Morguefile I've been packing little by little, and I thought it would be cool to share a few tips that I've been doing for anybody that is moving as well, or that will in the future. Also, I would like any tips from anyone how they packed and moved and what made it run smoothly. My method of packing is a combination of my mom's idea, and one of my own. I know I am going to have a lot of help, and I will get so overwhelmed if I have to keep telling everyone where everything goes. So I came up with a system: I marked every room with a color/s. Like the living room is yellow, kitchen-pink, bedroom-green, and shed-green+yellow. And each box has the coordinating stickers on them. I will have a big poster board with ...

#TransformationalTuesday: Healthy Stuff

Image
Hello everyone! I realized that I haven't posted anything health related yet, so today's post will be on that subject. I have some health issues. Actually, most of my family has health issues. Although I haven't technically been diagnosed with anything, I have been able to figure some things out about my body. I react to a lot of foods, though thankfully nothing life threatening. Dairy comes in many forms: whey, cheese, yogurt, butter, shakes, ice cream, additives, creamers, and just plain milk. I love dairy, especially sour cream, caramel creamer, and butter goes on everything! Before I was married, I...

Thursday Thoughts: Marriage

My Hubby fixed our laptop, so I can finally post again! Speaking on my husband... Today's passion is on marriage! I don't know why I didn't start with this one, because I love my man way more than I do singing. And no, as much as I'd like to, I'm not going to brag about Wesley this whole post. Instead, I'm going to share a little of what I've learned through almost two years of marriage (It flies by so quickly!) First, the biggest killer to any relationship really is ungratefulness. If you do not have an attitude of gratitude towards your husband, bitter thoughts and irritations at little things start creeping in, and before you know it, you are having issues in your marriage and you don't know why. Several times when I have felt irritated at Wesley, if I looked close enough, it was because I stopped focusing on the positive things about him and was only paying attention to the negative (which is hardly any. I have a very good man). It's no...
