#ThursdayThoughts: Life is crazy!

Wow! It has been almost a year since I started this blog. A lot has changed! As I mentioned in my last post, we moved into a house closer to Wesley's work, and I got a job. I work for a financial management company as the receptionist. I love it! I also had a diagnosis this past year-back in March. I went to the emergency room for some totally unrelated reason, and they ran a bunch of blood tests, and found that I have Type 2 Diabetes! Thankfully, it isn't the insulin dependent kind. I have been on a journey to figure that all out. On top of that, I have some other things that I can't figure out if it's related to my blood sugar or not. So, like this post title insinuates, my life is pretty crazy! But hopefully, I can get this blog going again. But instead of blogging about trying to keep my house clean, I am going to just blog about my life. Thursday Thoughts: Marriage

My Hubby fixed our laptop, so I can finally post again! Speaking on my husband... Today's passion is on marriage! I don't know why I didn't start with this one, because I love my man way more than I do singing. And no, as much as I'd like to, I'm not going to brag about Wesley this whole post. Instead, I'm going to share a little of what I've learned through almost two years of marriage (It flies by so quickly!) First, the biggest killer to any relationship really is ungratefulness. If you do not have an attitude of gratitude towards your husband, bitter thoughts and irritations at little things start creeping in, and before you know it, you are having issues in your marriage and you don't know why. Several times when I have felt irritated at Wesley, if I looked close enough, it was because I stopped focusing on the positive things about him and was only paying attention to the negative (which is hardly any.
